John Jones, Senior Minister
John has served as Senior Minister at West Hills since July, 2020. His primary responsibilities are preaching and teaching, providing pastoral care, and leading the West Hills Ministry Team. He is a graduate of Emmanuel Christian Seminary (M.Div., 2020), The University of Kansas (Ph.D., 1999, M.A., 1996), Harding School of Theology (M.A., 1998), and Southeast Missouri State University. He also serves as an adjunct Speech professor at Milligan University. When he is not working with the church, John’s hobbies include reading, movies, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and Kansas basketball.
Amy Mullins, Children’s Minister
Amy wanted to teach children as far back as she can remember. She thought it would be as a kindergarten teacher through the school system; but God had a different plan, a perfect plan in place for her life. In 2008, Amy came on staff as the Children’s Ministry Director at West Hills. God has given her a passion for working with children. She loves serving alongside many volunteers who also want to help children discover a love for God and His Word.
Amy and her husband Mike were married in 1999. They have two boys- Dylan and Connor. Amy wants her boys, as well as all children here at West Hills, to grow up knowing that God has a perfect plan for their lives! Amy enjoys attending her boys’ sporting events, crafting, going to yard sales with Mike, and watching UNC basketball – Go Heels! You may contact Amy at amy.mullins@westhillschristian.org.
Dani Harris, Worship Minister
My name is Dani Harris. I am originally from Sevier County, TN. I accepted the Lord as my Savior at the age of 9 and grew up in church my whole life. At the age of 11, I received my first guitar and began traveling with my family, singing and playing guitar while sharing the good news of Christ. I went on to play and sing in various youth worship teams. I then led the worship team at campus house at ETSU for about 3 years. I am so blessed to have received the calling to lead the worship team here at West Hills since February of 2017.
